A Strange Inktober

This week's Inktober has been all about my favourite book 'Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell' by Susanna Clarke. I've been meaning to do some artwork for it for years, and I finally got round to it. Also, i wanted to get my own interpretations of some of the characters down on paper before the BBC adaption comes out.

UPDATE: Changed the layout of these since i decided having them all in one line is annoying and awkward.
Also, also, also: i was really nervous about the BBC adaption - like, i was sitting there on Sunday night feeling genuinely, nail-bitingly nervous - but the first episode was fabulous and I'm so incredibly happy about it and I won't stfu about it to my friends even though none of them care because they haven't read the book because they're awful people.
