Lone comic page I came up with after doodling this little thing on a spare piece of paper [link]

A girl dips her hand into the Grand Canal in Venice, unaware that she is attracting the attention of the ladies and gentlemen that lurk beneath the waves.

The middle panel is in the vague shape of a Venetian bridge.
The writing at the bottom is a shameless mutilation of a quote by John Ruskin on Venice, "A splendour of miscellaneous spirits".
I apologise Mr Ruskin for using your words for my own devious ends.

I've been there for three months, studying at the Art School (with Erasmus)! I've seen the Carnivale...It was WONDERFUL (and awfully crowded)

It's beautiful but the water is disgusting XD

Hah, yes. I'd love to see the Carnivale but I'm not one for crowds. A leisurely trip at an off-peak time of year I think will be best for a first visit.

I was there from February to the beginning of May...The quieter was in February! Just before the Carnivale...the worst started in April ^^' I don't like crowds either! And the food is soooo expensive! It's hard to live in Venice XD It's not like I'm wealthy!

Oh, yes. i've heard that's a good time to go. Mid-summer is meant to be quite hellish for the heat and the crowds.
How cool though that you got to live there for a while - great experience!

Oh yes! It's hot like HELL already in April/May XD And yes, it was a great experience...Going back home at night, and only hearing the sound of your shoes...^^ Venice is a bit creepy at Night (Rats, Lonelyness) but it's great in the same time!

But the sun beaming on the water is awful for the eyes...

(And all the shops Chanel, Dior, Guess, etc...seeming to yell "go away, hobo, we're far too posh for you" haha XD)

You feel awfully poor on Venice haha
